بلغ النبي ﷺ مكاناً سمع فيه صريف الأقلام، وهناك كلّمه الله وفرض على أمته الصلاة: خمسين صلاة في اليوم والليلة. والصلاة هي العبادة الوحيدة التي فُرضت في السماء لا في الأرض.
الصلاة هديّة من السماء، وصلتك بربك.
مضى النبي ﷺ حتى بلغ مستوى سمع فيه صريف الأقلام — أقلام الملائكة وهي تكتب. وهناك أوحى الله إلى عبده ما أوحى، وفرض على أمته الصلاة خمسين صلاة في اليوم والليلة. والصلاة هي العبادة الوحيدة التي فُرضت في السماء ولم تُفرض في الأرض، وفي ذلك دليل على عِظم شأنها.
قال تعالى في ذلك المقام: ﴿فَأَوْحَىٰ إِلَىٰ عَبْدِهِ مَا أَوْحَىٰ مَا كَذَبَ الْفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَىٰ﴾.
لو كانت الصلاة هدية جاءت من فوق سبع سماوات، فكيف تستقبلها كل يوم؟

The Prophet (pbuh) reached a place where he heard the scratching of the pens, and there Allah spoke to him and made the prayer obligatory on his nation: fifty prayers a day and night. The prayer is the only act of worship made obligatory in the heavens rather than on earth.

The Prophet (pbuh) went on until he reached a level where he could hear the scratching of the pens — the pens of the angels as they write. There Allah revealed to His servant what He revealed, and made the prayer obligatory upon his nation: fifty prayers a day and night. The prayer is the only act of worship made obligatory in the heavens and not on earth, which shows how great a matter it is.
Allah says of that station: ﴿فَأَوْحَىٰ إِلَىٰ عَبْدِهِ مَا أَوْحَىٰ مَا كَذَبَ الْفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَىٰ﴾.
