أخذت السيدة خديجة رضي الله عنها النبي ﷺ إلى ابن عمها ورقة بن نوفل، وكان رجلاً عجوزاً حكيماً يقرأ الكتب السماوية القديمة. ولما سمع ورقة ما حدث في الغار فرح وقال: هذا هو المَلَك الذي نزل على موسى عليه السلام! وأخبر النبيَّ ﷺ أنه نبي هذه الأمة، وأن قومه سيؤذونه، وتمنّى لو كان شاباً قوياً لينصره.
لما يصعب علينا فهم أمر، نسأل أهل العلم والحكمة.
أخذت السيدة خديجة رضي الله عنها النبيَّ ﷺ إلى ابن عمها «ورقة بن نوفل»، وكان رجلاً حكيماً عالماً بالكتب السماوية القديمة كالتوراة والإنجيل. فلما سمع ورقة ما حدث للنبي ﷺ في الغار فرح فرحاً شديداً وقال له: هذا هو الناموس — يعني المَلَك جبريل — الذي أنزله الله على موسى عليه السلام. وأخبره أنه نبي هذه الأمة، وحذّره من أن قومه سيحاربونه ويخرجونه من مكة، وتمنّى ورقة لو كان شاباً قوياً لينصر النبي ﷺ يوم يعاديه الناس. وبهذه الكلمات اطمأن قلب النبي ﷺ وتأكد من رسالته.
قال تعالى مبيّناً أن أهل الكتاب كانوا يعرفون صفة النبي: ﴿الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ يَعْرِفُونَهُ كَمَا يَعْرِفُونَ أَبْنَاءَهُمْ﴾.
لو واجهتك مسألة صعبة لا تفهمها، مَن الشخص الحكيم الذي تسأله في بيتك أو مدرستك؟

Lady Khadijah took the Prophet (pbuh) to her cousin Waraqah ibn Nawfal, a wise old man who read the ancient holy books. When Waraqah heard what had happened in the cave, he was delighted and said: this is the same angel who came to Musa! He told the Prophet (pbuh) that he was the prophet of this nation, that his people would harm him, and he wished he were young and strong enough to stand with him.
When something is hard to understand, we ask people of knowledge and wisdom.
Lady Khadijah took the Prophet (pbuh) to her cousin Waraqah ibn Nawfal. He was a wise man and a scholar of the ancient holy books, the Torah and the Gospel. When Waraqah heard what had happened to the Prophet (pbuh) in the cave, he was overjoyed and told him: this is the Namus — the angel Jibril — whom Allah sent down to Musa. He told him that he was the prophet of this nation, and warned him that his people would fight him and drive him out of Mecca. Waraqah wished he were a strong young man so that he could support the Prophet (pbuh) on the day people turned against him. With those words, the Prophet's heart settled and he was certain of his message.
Allah says of the People of the Book: ﴿الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ يَعْرِفُونَهُ كَمَا يَعْرِفُونَ أَبْنَاءَهُمْ﴾ — they know him as they know their own sons.
