بعد اللقاء الأول تأخر جبريل عليه السلام ولم ينزل على النبي ﷺ مدة، فحزن النبي ﷺ واشتاق إلى كلام الله. وبدأ بعض المشركين يسخرون ويقولون: ترك محمداً ربُّه! ثم نزل جبريل بسورة كاملة تطمئنه أن الله ما تركه ولا غضب عليه، وأن ما هو آتٍ أجمل.
الله لا ينسى عباده أبداً، وبعد الضيق فرج.
بعد اللقاء الأول في الغار، تأخر المَلَك جبريل عليه السلام ولم ينزل على النبي ﷺ فترة سُميت «فترة فتور الوحي». فحزن النبي ﷺ حزناً شديداً واشتاق لسماع كلام الله. وبدأ بعض المشركين يسخرون منه ويقولون: لقد ترك محمداً ربُّه وغضب عليه! فزاد ذلك من حزنه، حتى أشرق النور من جديد: نزل جبريل عليه السلام بسورة كاملة مليئة بالحب والطمأنينة والمواساة، تؤكد للنبي ﷺ أن الله لم يتركه ولم يقلِه، وأن الآخرة خير له من الأولى.
قال تعالى يواسي نبيه في سورة الضحى: ﴿مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ وَلَلْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ الْأُولَىٰ﴾.
حين تحزن، ما الكلام الذي يطمئن قلبك؟ ومن الذي تحب أن تسمعه منه؟

After that first meeting, Jibril was delayed and did not come to the Prophet (pbuh) for a while. He grew sad and missed hearing the words of Allah, and some of the idol-worshippers began to mock him, saying: his Lord has left him! Then Jibril came down with a whole surah to reassure him that Allah had not left him and was not angry with him, and that what was coming was better.
Allah never forgets His servants, and after hardship comes ease.
After the first meeting in the cave, the angel Jibril was delayed and did not come down to the Prophet (pbuh) for a period known as the pause of revelation. The Prophet (pbuh) became very sad and longed to hear the words of Allah. Some of the idol-worshippers began to mock him, saying: Muhammad's Lord has abandoned him and is angry with him. That made his sadness heavier — until the light returned. Jibril came down with an entire surah full of love, reassurance and comfort, telling the Prophet (pbuh) that Allah had never left him, was never angry with him, and that what lay ahead was better than what had passed.
Allah comforts him in Surah Ad-Duha: ﴿مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ وَلَلْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ الْأُولَىٰ﴾.
