لم يكن الوحي يأتي بطريقة واحدة. في البداية كان النبي ﷺ يرى رؤيا في نومه فتتحقق في الصباح. وبعد النبوة كان جبريل عليه السلام يأتيه أحياناً في صورة رجل، وأحياناً يأتي الوحي قوياً مثل صوت الجرس، وكان هذا أشدّه على النبي ﷺ.
نقدّر تعب النبي ﷺ حتى يصلنا هذا القرآن.
لم يكن الوحي يأتي بطريقة واحدة فقط. في البداية كان الوحي رؤيا صالحة يراها النبي ﷺ في منامه فتتحقق في الواقع في اليوم التالي مثل ضوء الصباح. وبعد النبوة كان المَلَك جبريل عليه السلام يأتي أحياناً في صورة رجل ليعلّم النبي ﷺ في راحة وسهولة. وأحياناً كان الوحي يأتي قوياً مثل صلصلة الجرس، وهذا أشدّ أنواع الوحي على النبي ﷺ، حتى إنه كان يتفصّد عرقاً في اليوم شديد البرد من ثقل كلام الله وقوته.
قال تعالى مبيّناً عظمة القرآن وثقله: ﴿إِنَّا سَنُلْقِي عَلَيْكَ قَوْلًا ثَقِيلًا﴾.
لو عرفت كم تعب النبي ﷺ حتى يصلك القرآن، كيف ستقرأه اليوم؟

The revelation did not come in only one way. At first the Prophet (pbuh) would see a dream in his sleep and it would come true in the morning. After the prophethood, Jibril would sometimes come in the form of a man, and sometimes the revelation came powerfully like the ringing of a bell — and that was the hardest of all for him.
We appreciate what the Prophet (pbuh) carried so that this Quran would reach us.
The revelation did not come in only one way. In the beginning it was a true dream the Prophet (pbuh) would see in his sleep, and it would come to pass the next day like the light of morning. After the prophethood, the angel Jibril would sometimes come in the form of a man, teaching the Prophet (pbuh) gently and easily. And sometimes the revelation came powerfully, like the ringing of a bell — the hardest kind for him — so much so that he would be pouring with sweat on a bitterly cold day, from the weight and the power of the words of Allah.
Allah says of the weight of the Quran: ﴿إِنَّا سَنُلْقِي عَلَيْكَ قَوْلًا ثَقِيلًا﴾ — “We are going to send down to you a weighty word.”
