في طريق العودة سأل موسى عليه السلام النبي ﷺ: بم أُمرت؟ قال: بخمسين صلاة. فقال: إن أمتك لا تطيق ذلك، ارجع إلى ربك فاسأله التخفيف. فلم يزل النبي ﷺ يرجع حتى صارت خمساً، وقال الله: هي خمس وهي خمسون، لا يُبدَّل القول لديّ.
رحمة الله بنا أوسع مما نظن.
في طريق العودة مرّ النبي ﷺ على موسى عليه السلام فسأله: «بم أُمرت؟» قال: «أُمرت بخمسين صلاة كل يوم». فقال موسى بخبرته الطويلة مع قومه: «إن أمتك لا تستطيع ذلك، فارجع إلى ربك فاسأله التخفيف لأمتك». فرجع النبي ﷺ فخفّف الله عنه، ثم عاد إلى موسى فأمره بالرجوع مرة بعد مرة، حتى صارت خمس صلوات. فقال الله تعالى: «هي خمسٌ وهي خمسون، لا يُبدَّل القول لديّ» — خمسٌ في العمل وخمسون في الأجر.
قال تعالى في رحمته بنا: ﴿يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ أَن يُخَفِّفَ عَنكُمْ ۚ وَخُلِقَ الْإِنسَانُ ضَعِيفًا﴾.
مَن نصحك نصيحة نفعتك؟ وهل شكرته عليها؟

On the way back, Musa asked the Prophet (pbuh): what were you commanded? He said: fifty prayers. Musa said: your nation cannot bear that — go back to your Lord and ask Him to lighten it. The Prophet kept returning until they became five, and Allah said: they are five, and they are fifty; My word does not change.
Allah's mercy on us is wider than we think.
On the way back the Prophet (pbuh) passed Musa, who asked him: “What were you commanded?” He said: “Fifty prayers every day.” Musa said, out of his long experience with his own people: “Your nation cannot manage that. Go back to your Lord and ask Him to lighten it for them.” The Prophet went back, and Allah lightened it; and he returned to Musa, who sent him back again, time after time, until they became five prayers. Then Allah said: “They are five, and they are fifty. My word does not change” — five in deed, fifty in reward.
Allah says of His mercy: ﴿يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ أَن يُخَفِّفَ عَنكُمْ﴾ — “Allah wishes to lighten your burden.”
