اشتد الأذى في مكة، فبحث المسلمون عن مكان آمن. إلى أين ذهبوا؟
حين اشتد الأذى على بعض المسلمين في مكة، أشار النبي ﷺ عليهم أن يخرجوا إلى الحبشة. كانت هناك أرض يحكمها ملك عادل لا يُظلم عنده أحد، فخرجت مجموعة من المسلمين إليها.
لم تكن الهجرة رحلة ترفيه. ترك المهاجرون مكة من أجل أن يحفظوا دينهم ويعيشوا بأمان. وصلوا إلى أرض جديدة، وهناك وجدوا من يسمع لهم ويعاملهم بالعدل.
تعلمنا القصة أن طلب الأمان ليس ضعفًا، وأن العدل خير يُعرف أينما وجد. اختار المسلمون طريقًا يحفظهم، وبقيت الهجرة علامة على الصبر والثقة بالله.
هاجر بعض المسلمين إلى الحبشة حين اشتد الأذى في مكة، لأنها كانت تحت حكم ملك عادل.
كيف تجعل من حولك يشعرون بالأمان والإنصاف؟
عندما تلعب أو تعمل مع الآخرين، تأكد أن لكل شخص دورًا وصوتًا.

When the harm grew heavy, the Prophet (pbuh) told the Muslims: go to the land of Abyssinia, for there is a king there under whom no one is wronged. Some travelled and crossed the sea. Quraysh sent gifts to King an-Najashi to have them sent back, but he refused until he had heard them. Ja'far ibn Abi Talib stepped forward, spoke about Islam and recited verses from Surah Maryam. The king wept, refused to hand them over, and gave them safety.
Justice protects the stranger before the neighbour.
When the torture became too heavy, the Prophet (pbuh) told the Muslims: “Go to the land of Abyssinia, for there is a king there under whom no one is wronged.” Some travelled quietly and crossed the sea into Africa. Quraysh heard of it and sent gifts to King an-Najashi so that he would send the Muslims back, but the just king refused until he had heard from them first. Ja'far ibn Abi Talib stepped forward and spoke, bravely and courteously, about Islam and its manners, then recited verses from the opening of Surah Maryam. An-Najashi wept and said: “This and what Jesus brought come from one and the same lamp.” He refused to hand them over and gave them safety in his land.
Ja'far recited the opening of Surah Maryam: ﴿وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ مَرْيَمَ﴾ — “And mention in the Book, Maryam.”
