كان المسلمون يصلّون سراً خوفاً من أذى قريش، حتى غضب حمزة بن عبد المطلب عمّ النبي الشجاع وأعلن إسلامه دفاعاً عن ابن أخيه. وبعده بأيام أسلم عمر بن الخطاب، وكان خارجاً بسيفه ليؤذي النبي ﷺ، فسمع آيات من سورة طه فآمن. فقوي المسلمون وخرجوا لأول مرة يصلّون عند الكعبة.
الله يهدي القلوب مهما بدت قاسية.
كان المسلمون يصلّون سراً خائفين من أذى قريش، حتى جاء اليوم الذي غضب فيه حمزة بن عبد المطلب عمّ النبي الشجاع، فأعلن إسلامه ليدافع عن ابن أخيه. وبعده بأيام قليلة حدثت المفاجأة الكبرى: عمر بن الخطاب، الذي خرج بسيفه ليؤذي النبي ﷺ، سمع آيات من سورة طه فارتجّ قلبه وآمن من ساعته. وبإسلام حمزة وعمر رضي الله عنهما قوي المسلمون، وخرجوا لأول مرة في صفّين يكبّرون في شوارع مكة حتى بلغوا الكعبة، فلم تجرؤ قريش على أذاهم.
قال تعالى: ﴿يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ حَسْبُكَ اللَّهُ وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ﴾.

The Muslims prayed in secret, fearing harm from Quraysh — until the day the Prophet's brave uncle Hamza ibn Abd al-Muttalib grew angry and announced his Islam to defend his nephew. Days later Umar ibn al-Khattab, who had set out with his sword to harm the Prophet (pbuh), heard verses of Surah Taha and believed. The Muslims grew strong and prayed openly at the Kaaba for the first time.

The Muslims were praying in secret, afraid of the harm of Quraysh, until the day the Prophet's brave uncle Hamza ibn Abd al-Muttalib grew angry and announced his Islam to defend his nephew. A few days later came the greater surprise: Umar ibn al-Khattab, who had gone out with his sword to harm the Prophet (pbuh), heard verses from Surah Taha, and his heart shook, and he believed there and then. With Hamza and Umar, the Muslims became strong, and for the first time they walked out in two rows saying “Allahu Akbar” through the streets of Mecca until they reached the Kaaba — and Quraysh did not dare to touch them.
Allah says: ﴿يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ حَسْبُكَ اللَّهُ وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ﴾ — “Allah is sufficient for you, and for the believers who follow you.”
