إسلام حمزة وعمر رضي الله عنهما

دخل حمزة ثم عمر رضي الله عنهما في الإسلام، فكيف أثّر ذلك في المسلمين في مكة؟

كان حمزة بن عبد المطلب رضي الله عنه عم النبي ﷺ، وكان عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه من رجال قريش. في أيام الدعوة بمكة، أسلم حمزة ثم أسلم عمر رضي الله عنهما.

كان المسلمون قبل ذلك يلاقون أذى كثيرًا، فلما دخل هذان الرجلان في الإسلام شعر المسلمون بقوةٍ أكبر في اجتماعهم. ليست القوة في شخص واحد فقط؛ بل في أن يثبت الناس على الحق ويتعاونوا.

ترك كل واحد منهما ما كان عليه من قبل، واختار الإيمان بالله ورسوله ﷺ. لذلك تُذكر قصتاهما في السيرة بوصفهما علامتين مهمتين في مرحلة الدعوة في مكة.

الخير يقوى عندما يختار الناس الحق ويتعاونون عليه.

أسلم حمزة وعمر رضي الله عنهما في مكة، فكان لإسلامهما أثر في المسلمين.

ادعُ صديقًا إلى عمل خير بسيط: قراءة آية، أو مساعدة شخص، أو لعبة عادلة.

The Islam of Heroes: Hamza and Umar

The Muslims prayed in secret, fearing harm from Quraysh — until the day the Prophet's brave uncle Hamza ibn Abd al-Muttalib grew angry and announced his Islam to defend his nephew. Days later Umar ibn al-Khattab, who had set out with his sword to harm the Prophet (pbuh), heard verses of Surah Taha and believed. The Muslims grew strong and prayed openly at the Kaaba for the first time.

Allah guides hearts, however hard they look.

The Muslims were praying in secret, afraid of the harm of Quraysh, until the day the Prophet's brave uncle Hamza ibn Abd al-Muttalib grew angry and announced his Islam to defend his nephew. A few days later came the greater surprise: Umar ibn al-Khattab, who had gone out with his sword to harm the Prophet (pbuh), heard verses from Surah Taha, and his heart shook, and he believed there and then. With Hamza and Umar, the Muslims became strong, and for the first time they walked out in two rows saying “Allahu Akbar” through the streets of Mecca until they reached the Kaaba — and Quraysh did not dare to touch them.

Allah says: ﴿يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ حَسْبُكَ اللَّهُ وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ﴾ — “Allah is sufficient for you, and for the believers who follow you.”
