دُفن النبي ﷺ في الموضع الذي قُبض فيه في حجرة عائشة رضي الله عنها. ولم يترك ديناراً ولا درهماً، وإنما ترك ما هو أبقى: كتاب الله وسنّته، وأمّة تعلّمت الصدق والرحمة والعدل. وحملها الصحابة إلى من بعدهم، حتى وصلت إلينا.
الأثر يبقى بعد صاحبه إذا كان في الناس.
دُفن النبي ﷺ في الموضع الذي قُبض فيه، في حجرة عائشة رضي الله عنها إلى جانب مسجده. ولم يترك حين مات ديناراً ولا درهماً ولا عبداً ولا أمة، ولا شاة ولا بعيراً إلا سلاحه وبغلته البيضاء وأرضاً جعلها صدقة. لكنه ترك ما لا يبلى: كتاب الله محفوظاً، وسنّةً محفوظة، وأمّةً تعلّمت أن الصدق ينجّي، وأن الضعيف له حقّ، وأن الجار يُكرَم، وأن الحيوان يُرحَم، وأن العلم لكل أحد. وحمل الصحابة هذا كلّه ونقلوه، جيلاً بعد جيل، حتى وصل إلينا نحن اليوم — نقرأ سيرته ونتعلّم منها. وحبّه ﷺ لا يكون بالكلام وحده، وإنما بأن يرى الناس فيك شيئاً مما تعلّمته منه.
قال تعالى: ﴿وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ﴾.
لو حدّ وصفك بخلق واحد اتعلّمته من سيرة النبي ﷺ، تحبّ يكون إيه؟

The Prophet ﷺ was buried where he passed away, in Aishah's room. He left neither dinar nor dirham, but he left what lasts longer: the Book of Allah and his way, and a community that had learned truthfulness, mercy and justice. His companions carried it to those after them, until it reached us.
What you leave in people outlasts you.
The Prophet ﷺ was buried in the place where he passed away, in Aishah's room beside his mosque. When he died he left no dinar and no dirham, no servant, no sheep and no camel — only his weapons, his white mule, and land he had given away as charity. But he left what does not wear out: the Book of Allah preserved, his way preserved, and a community that had learned that truth saves you, that the weak have rights, that a neighbour is honoured, that an animal is shown mercy, and that learning is for everyone. His companions carried all of it and passed it on, generation after generation, until it reached us — reading his life and learning from it. And loving him is not done with words alone: it is done when people can see something in you that you learned from him.
Allah says: ﴿وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ﴾ — “We sent you only as a mercy to all the worlds.”
