دخل النبي ﷺ المدينة على ناقته القصواء، فكان الأنصار كلما مرّ ببيتٍ أخذوا بزمامها يقولون: انزل عندنا يا رسول الله! فكان يقول: «دعوها فإنها مأمورة». فمشت حتى بركت عند بيت أبي أيوب الأنصاري رضي الله عنه، فحمل رحله إلى بيته فرحاً.
العدل يمنع الحسد، والبركة في القلوب لا في سعة البيوت.
دخل النبي ﷺ قلب المدينة راكباً ناقته القصواء، والناس حوله فرحون. وكان الأنصار يحبّونه حبّاً شديداً، فكلما مرّ ببيتٍ من بيوتهم أخذ أهله بزمام الناقة يقولون: يا رسول الله، انزل عندنا! وكلهم صادق، وكلهم يرجو الشرف. فلو اختار بيتاً بعينه لوجد غيره في نفسه شيئاً. فكان يقول لهم في لطف: «دعوها فإنها مأمورة». فمضت الناقة حتى بركت عند بيت أبي أيوب الأنصاري رضي الله عنه، وكان من غير أغنيائهم، فبادر أبو أيوب فحمل رحل النبي ﷺ إلى بيته من الفرح. فأقام النبي ﷺ عنده حتى بُني مسجده وبيوته.
قال تعالى: ﴿وَقُل رَّبِّ أَنزِلْنِي مُنزَلًا مُّبَارَكًا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْمُنزِلِينَ﴾.
كيف تختار بين اثنين يدعوانك في وقت واحد بغير أن تجرح أحدهما؟

The Prophet ﷺ entered Madinah on his camel al-Qaswa, and every time he passed a house the Ansar took hold of her halter, saying: stay with us, Messenger of Allah! He would answer: “Leave her, she is under orders.” She walked on until she knelt at the house of Abu Ayyub al-Ansari — who carried the Prophet's saddle into his home in joy.
Fairness prevents envy; blessing is in hearts, not in the size of houses.
The Prophet ﷺ entered the heart of Madinah riding his camel al-Qaswa, with joyful people all around him. The Ansar loved him deeply, and every time he passed one of their houses its people took hold of the camel's halter and said: Messenger of Allah, stay with us! Every one of them meant it, and every one of them hoped for the honour — so had he chosen one house in particular, others would have felt it. So he answered them gently: “Leave her, she is under orders.” The camel went on until she knelt at the house of Abu Ayyub al-Ansari, who was not among their wealthy — and Abu Ayyub hurried to carry the Prophet's saddle into his house out of sheer joy. The Prophet ﷺ stayed with him until his mosque and his family's rooms were built.
Allah says: ﴿رَّبِّ أَنزِلْنِي مُنزَلًا مُّبَارَكًا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْمُنزِلِينَ﴾ — “My Lord, let me land in a blessed place; You are the best to bring to land.”
