بينما كان النبي ﷺ نائماً قرب الكعبة، وهو حزين بعد رحلة الطائف، نزل إليه جبريل عليه السلام ومعه مَلَك آخر. فشقّا صدره في رفق وبلا ألم، وغسلا قلبه الشريف بماء زمزم في طست من ذهب، ثم ملآه إيماناً وحكمة، وأعاداه كما كان. وبهذا بدأت أعظم ليلة في التاريخ.
القلب النظيف هو أول ما نحتاجه لأي عمل عظيم.
بينما كان النبي ﷺ نائماً ليلاً قرب الكعبة، بعد أن أثقله الحزن من رحلة الطائف، نزل عليه المَلَك جبريل عليه السلام ومعه مَلَك آخر. فشقّا صدره الشريف في رفق شديد ومن غير ألم، وأخرجا قلبه فغسلاه بماء زمزم الطاهر في طست من ذهب، ثم ملآه إيماناً وحكمة وقوة، ليكون مستعداً لما سيرى في تلك الليلة من آيات الله الكبرى. ثم أعادا قلبه كما كان، وبدأت أعظم رحلة في تاريخ البشرية.
قال تعالى ممتنّاً على نبيه: ﴿أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ﴾.
ما العمل الذي تفعله اليوم ليبقى قلبك نظيفاً من الغلّ والحسد؟

While the Prophet (pbuh) slept near the Kaaba, heavy with sadness after the journey to Taif, Jibril came down to him with another angel. They opened his chest gently and without pain, washed his noble heart with Zamzam water in a golden basin, filled it with faith and wisdom, and put it back as it was. And so the greatest night in history began.
A clean heart is the first thing any great work needs.
While the Prophet (pbuh) was sleeping at night near the Kaaba, weighed down by sadness after the journey to Taif, the angel Jibril came down to him with another angel. They opened his noble chest very gently and without pain, took out his heart and washed it with pure Zamzam water in a golden basin, then filled it with faith and wisdom and strength, so that he would be ready for the great signs he was about to be shown that night. Then they returned his heart as it was, and the greatest journey in human history began.
Allah says: ﴿أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ﴾ — “Did We not expand for you your breast?”
