في وقت الهجرة جهزت أسماء بنت أبي بكر رضي الله عنها طعامًا للنبي ﷺ وأبي بكر. ولم تجد ما تربط به الطعام، فقطعت نطاقها نصفين: نصفًا للطعام ونصفًا لحاجتها.
سُمّيت بعد ذلك ذات النطاقين. يبدو الفعل بسيطًا: قطعة قماش استُخدمت بحكمة في وقت الحاجة. لكنه كان مساعدة حقيقية في رحلة كبيرة.
ليس كل دور في العمل المهم ظاهرًا للناس. أحيانًا تكون المساندة في تجهيز شيء، أو حفظ سر، أو أداء مهمة صغيرة في وقتها. المهم أن نعمل بأمانة وتحت إرشاد الكبار.
فقطعت أسماء نطاقها باثنين، فربطت السفرة بنصفه وانتطقت بالنصف الآخر.

When they packed the provisions they had nothing to tie them with, so Asma bint Abi Bakr took her belt, tore it in two, tied the food with one half and her clothes with the other. The Prophet (pbuh) prayed that Allah give her two belts in Paradise, and she was called “She of the Two Belts”.
