صحيح البخاري (4987)

نسخ المصاحف في عهد عثمان وإرسالها إلى الأمصار ثابت في البخاري. الذي توحّد هو رسم المصحف، والقراءات العشر المتواترة لا تزال تُقرأ كلها داخل هذا الرسم.

The copies Uthman sent out

Caliph Uthman ibn Affan had copies made and sent to the Muslim cities, so that Muslims everywhere would gather around one and the same written text.

How do we know this?

Sahih al-Bukhari (4987)

The copying of the mushafs in Uthman's time and their dispatch to the regions is in al-Bukhari. What was unified was the written text; the ten trusted recitations are all still read within it.
