I praise Allah for sending the messengers to teach us the way to Him.
Imagine a long road with no signs — how would a traveller know where to walk? Allah sent the prophets and messengers to make people know their Lord, to call them to worship Him alone, and to teach them what is good. They did not come asking to be worshipped themselves; they came to tell people: worship Allah and follow the truth. That is why we love the messengers — Allah made them guides and examples.
Every messenger called his people to worship Allah alone and to leave the worship of anything else.
Why do you think people need a messenger to teach them what Allah loves?
