أحافظ على صلاتي لأنها صلتي بربي.
في اليوم لحظات يترك فيها المسلم اللعب والدراسة والكلام، ويقف بين يدي الله في الصلاة. الصلاة صلة بالله، فيها قرآن وذكر ودعاء وخشوع. نتعلمها بالتدرج، ونفرح عندما نحافظ عليها في وقتها، ونطلب من أهلنا أن يساعدونا. ليست الصلاة حركة بلا قلب، بل لقاء يربّي القلب على الطاعة.
اتْلُ مَا أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَأَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ ۖ إِنَّ الصَّلَاةَ تَنْهَىٰ عَنِ الْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنكَرِ ۗ وَلَذِكْرُ اللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَصْنَعُونَسورة العنكبوت: ٤٥
الصلاة أول ما يتعلمه الطفل بالتشجيع والرفق والمداومة.

I keep my prayer, because it is my link to my Lord.
There are moments in the day when a Muslim leaves play and study and talk, and stands before Allah in prayer. The prayer is a link with Allah: in it there is Quran, remembrance, supplication and stillness. We learn it step by step, we are glad when we keep it on time, and we ask our family to help us. The prayer is not movement without a heart — it is a meeting that trains the heart towards obedience.
Prayer is the first thing a child learns, through encouragement, gentleness and keeping at it.
