I am merciful to those around me, and I want to be among the people of mercy.
At break time a child saw a classmate sitting alone, having forgotten his food. He went over, sat beside him, and shared some of his own. Mercy is not only a feeling in the heart; it is a hand that helps, a word that comforts, a face that smiles. Whoever believes in Allah the Merciful loves to be merciful to Allah's creation, and does not harm the weak or mock someone in need.
Marhamah means believers urging one another to mercy, reminding each other of it.
Why do you think a classmate sitting alone needs a merciful word?
