أراقب الله في سرّي وعلانيتي.
قد يكون الطفل وحده في الغرفة، ومعه لعبة أو كتاب أو جهاز. لا يراه الناس كلهم، لكن الله تعالى يراه ويسمع كلامه ويعلم ما في قلبه، بلا كيف ولا تشبيه. وهذا لا يجعلنا نخاف خوفًا يبعدنا، بل يجعلنا نستحي أن نفعل ما لا يرضيه، ونفرح أنه يسمع دعاءنا. فإذا اخترت الصدق وأنت وحدك، فهذا من مراقبة الله.
قَالَ لَا تَخَافَا ۖ إِنَّنِي مَعَكُمَا أَسْمَعُ وَأَرَىٰسورة طه: ٤٦
نؤمن بأن الله يسمع ويرى كما أخبر، من غير أن نتخيل كيف تكون صفاته.
لماذا في رأيكم يختار المؤمن الصواب حتى عندما لا يراه الناس؟

I am mindful of Allah in private and in public.
A child may be alone in a room with a toy, a book or a device. Not everyone can see him — but Allah sees him, hears what he says, and knows what is in his heart, without our asking how or picturing a likeness. This does not make us afraid in a way that pushes us away; it makes us feel shy to do what displeases Him, and glad that He hears our prayers. So when you choose honesty while you are alone, that is being mindful of Allah.
We believe that Allah hears and sees, as He told us, without imagining how His attributes are.
Why do you think a believer chooses what is right even when nobody is watching?
